Plug & Play

Start in seconds with our automatic USB media looper.

Simply create a folder called "autoplay" on your USB stick with your video, audio or images and plug it in. Media Timer will automatically find and play your media, looping for as long as you like. No keyboard, remote or configuration necessary.

Made from refurbished electronics, Adaptables reduces e-waste.

Adaptables devices are skillfully crafted from computers that would otherwise become e-waste. 54 million tonnes of e-waste was produced in 2022 and this is increasing by 2.6 million tonnes annually. Every device that comes through our studio is refurbished and tested thoroughly, ensuring each Adaptable is built to last.

Schedule Media

Explore complex weekly scheduling options with our software.

Your media can be scheduled to play at different times on different days of the week. The Media Player's advanced scheduling system is simple to set up and can accommodate up to 86400 timings each day. Schedules can be easily copied between weekdays, weekends or individual days.

Play Anything

Play formats like mp4, avi, wav, p5, processing and custom scripts.

The Media Timer can play almost every video and audio format available and there is no size limit. Simple images and graphics can be shown individually or grouped together into slideshows. The Media Timer can also display web pages and run creative code outputs, including p5 and processing sketches alongside shell scripts.

Sync Timers

Synchronise multiple Media Timers together in a modular setup.

Using the on-board scheduling software, Media Timers can be synchronised together to create immersive audio and visual experiences. This allows for an easy modular setup without the need to install extensive cabling or expensive proprietary tools.

Handcrafted in Glasgow

All Adaptables kits are made by hand in Glasgow, UK. Our small team crafts each element of every Media Timer, developing our custom operating system and open source software, refurbishing devices and creating multifunctional recyclable cases and packaging.
